This filter serves as a convenient, pre-assembled replacement for Research Products Aprilaire / Space-Gard filter 201, used in models 2200 and 2250.
You will still need the plastic inner filter housing, but not the spacers. Also, do not remove the seal kit (pink or white insulation-looking material) from the plastic housing when installing this filter.
