Our Electrostatic Filters feature a construction that
is unique vs other designs. We use an Aluminum
Frame with a double riveted corner, and drain
holes to help the filter dry faster after washing.
The construction consists of multiple layers of
filtering media. The outer layers are a heavy
weight, corrugated aluminum to add impact
resistance, rigidity, and arrestance of large
materials. The inner layers consist of special
electrostatic, anti-microbial materials and
polypropelene. We recommend washing every 1-3
months. Homes with lots of pets may require more
frequent cleaning. Electrostatic filters are most
effective when the furnace fan is set to run
