It is the core of the humidifier, given the task of producing the steam that the humidifier then dispenses throughout your HVAC system. The steam purifies the air, reducing the presence of bacteria and preventing allergy and asthma symptoms from occurring. It’s recommended that you change the filter annually for optimal performance.

Every 500-2000 operation hours, depending on water hardness. When the cylinder is spent the HM750 will stop operating and the yellow LED will flash in a repeating pattern.
This humidifier is shipped with a salt tablet already inserted inside the steam cylinder than can be a source of rattling noises. This noise is normal.
