The K-00339 water filter cartridge is the primary replacement filter for the Arctic Pure AR-20000 and AR-40000 Filter systems. It has a scale inhibitor that reduces scale buildup under the hardest water conditions. This cartridge has a capacity of up to 40,000 gallons. To ensure maximum filtration efficiency, cartridge should be replaced every 6 months. The graded density carbon block filter reduces chlorine taste and odor and provides superior dirt holding capacity and fine sediment reduction. Sanitary quick change housing design minimizes contamination of filter media during filter cartridge change-out.
Please note that if you are replacing an older version of the K-00339, this model will be shorter in length. It still fits AR-20000 and AR-40000 filter assemblies and performs to the same level as the original longer cartridges.
